Legal text :
1 The Federal Supreme Court shall inform the public of its precedents.
2 Its decisions shall in principle be published in anonymous form.
3 The Federal Supreme Court shall issue a regulation on the principles of information.
It may order the accreditation of court reporters.
Article 57 FSCR Principle
(Article 27 FSCA)
1 The Federal Supreme Court shall inform the public of its precedents as follows:
a.
in the official compendium of Decisions of the Swiss Federal Supreme Court (Decisions of the Federal Supreme Court, BGE);
b.
via the Internet;
c.
in the decisions made available to the public;
d.
in media releases.
2 It shall appropriately inform the media of current cases and special events.
Article 58 FSCR Decisions of the Federal Supreme Court
(Article 27 FSCA)
1 Landmark decisions shall be published in the official compendium, Decisions of the Federal Supreme Court.
2 The competent court shall decide on publication.
3 The Decisions of the Federal Supreme Court shall include a list of subjects.
Article 59 FSCR Internet
(Article. 27 FSCA)
1 The following shall be published on the Internet:
a.
all decisions published in the Decisions of the Federal Supreme Court;
b.
all final and partial decisions, preliminary rulings and interim rulings delivered by the presiding judge of the Court.
2 The presiding judge of the Court shall adopt suitable measures to protect the parties’ personal privacy.
